Using GProxy an entire LAN
can connect to the Internet through a single modem or
direct connection. Autodial function provided. GProxy
have to be installed in the PC connected to the
service provider, the other PCs send their requests
to it through the LAN. If the connection is made
through a modem, GProxy is able to dial automatically
when needed; when no request is made for a specified
time, GProxy automatically disconnects the modem
connection. GProxy supports HTTP service, mail
service, news, telnet, FTP and TCP mapping. Remote
setup feature allows you to configure the proxy using
a common Internet Browser from anywhere in your LAN.
It is possible to log in a file the requests coming
from clients.
Gproxy requires a PC working with Windows95-98 or
Windows NT4 and runs in the system-tray.
GProxy have to be installed in the PC connected to
the service provider. To install it, you have only to
expand the distributed zip file in a directory of
your choose, then run the self installing executable
gprxy126.exe. GProxy is SHAREWARE
and you can use it legally for 30 days free of charge
to evaluate it, it is a full version and has no
feature limitation.
