EDUCATIONAL VIDEOTAPES FROM THE GASTROINTESTINAL ENDOSCOPY COURSES OF THE 9TH AND 10TH WORLD CONGRESSES OF GASTROENTEROLOGY HELD IN SYDNEY, 1990 AND LOS ANGELES, 1994

FOREWORD

Among the educational initiatives of OMED, one of the most interesting to individual endoscopists or group of practitioners is the access to highly sophisticated tapes describing in detail the techniques of routine endoscopic procedures, but also showing special clinical cases and the way to solve their problems through the correct use of advanced endoscopic techniques.
In this respect the videotapes of the Postgraduate Courses of the last two World Congresses of Gastroenterology, held in Sydney and Los Angeles, are currently available at no cost for national organizations who request them from the OMED General Secretariat. The stipulation is that they will be shown at a national congress of gastroenterology within a year after their having been received by the national Society.
They will be also available to individual physicians or groups by request. The price for the complete package of 13 videotapes is $ 100 US plus postage. This is to defray the cost of reproducing the tapes.
The requests should be addressed to:
Dr. Massimo Crespi, National Cancer Institute "Regina Elena"
Viale Regina Elena 291 - 00161 Roma, Italy - fax +39.6.4457086 and +39.6.49385147 - e-mail:
