Initial state of work, preconditions for starting, & objectives:

Computer reclassification of the information contained in the DEI, WEKA and ARGE databases using the BISNET classification plan.

When this WP begins, the DEI, WEKA and ARGE databases will be available in a format that is consistent with the needs of the A&C 2000 system.

The prototype for the classification plan as defined by WP 4 and tested as indicated in WP 5 will also be available.

A&C 2000 will develop a software capable of reclassifying the information of individual databases with the P/Classification BISNET specific codes.

This operation will make it less burdensome to reclassify each individual database.

It will also give indications as to the specifications of the transcoding software which is to be developed as a utility for the databases that in the future may want to share in the BISNET network.

Responsible for WP: DEI with the backing of the whole of the consortium.

Tasks:

8.1 Data acquisition: DEI, WEKA and ARGE databases

8.2 Analysis of the databases

8.3 Indications for the specifications of the software for the automatic transcoding of the items

8.4 Computer processing of the data contained in the individual databases

Deliverables:

1. Report on how the comparison of the databases was carried out

2. Specifications of the software for computerized transcoding
