Title: BISNET system design

Initial state of work, preconditions for starting, & objectives:

After defining general system design, this WP aims to define in detail data and functions design; the specifications defined in this WP concern the software that would be developed to perform two main functions:

- telematic system management: data (loading, update, recovery, etc.) and system administration; data can be loaded in the system by data entry or by data conversion;

- applications to use the system (inquire, corresponding between BISNET code and national code, etc.).

Responsible for WP: A&C 2000

Tasks:

7.1 General system architecture definition:

- hardware (server, Personal Computer, communication systems and network protocols);

- basis software (operating system, communication, DBMS, languages, etc.);

- application software: user interface.

7.2 Data Analisys:

- conceptual, logical and physical data design;

- database design.

7.3 Functions' Analisys:

- requirements' analysis;

- functions' structure;

- functions' specification.

7.4 Data flow definition.

7 5 Procedures' definition.

7.6 Processing definition.

All tasks will be done by A&C 2000 in months from 13 to 15. ARGE will cooperate to this WP through his activity of consulting. A&C 2000 will supply to other partners the documents concerning above items to obtain their approval.

These tasks are necessary to provide documents that will be used by programmers to develop the software.

At the end of month 15 all deliverables are supplied by A&C 2000
